This is the 3rd and final part of a special podcast feature about Gaianet. Gaianet is a global community connecting heart-centred purpose-driven changemakers, whose mission is to work together towards a harmonised world - in their words, to "grow the roots of a new earth."
You might agree with me if I said that right now there's a crisis happening in the world, in society, in humanity - a shift is happening. And it is said that there are two timelines that we can go towards: one of them is the timeline of less freedoms, more control by the system, more surveillance, more censorship, less liberty. And if that sounds like a dark or dystopian future, I agree.
But there is another timeline, the timeline of a heart driven New Earth, where all of humanity lives their purpose in perfect harmony with nature and each other. Gaianet as an organisation has a mission to facilitate the co-creation of this new paradigm and to connect and unite heart-driven individuals and projects.

Welcome to this special feature of personal development mastery podcast.
This special audio feature is about Gaianet, a global community connecting heart centred purpose driven changemakers, whose mission is to work together towards a harmonised world and to grow the roots of a new earth.
This is the third and final part of the future. In the previous parts we've heard from the co founders and core contributors of Gaianet telling us what is Gaianet? Who is it for? What are their views on the current global situation. And we also heard them talk about their stories, journeys, milestone moments, spiritual awakenings, the role of plant medicine, and specifically ayahuasca, and also living from the heart. In this third part, I will let my guests voices again, share this time the mission of Gaianet, the vision of the future, the vision of this new humanity, the new paradigm, the New Earth. We will also listen from them telling us what is it that we can do to play a role in the creation of this harmonised world. And this is the first thing to do.
Bart Hoorweg 1:47
The secret of change is to focus all your attention not on fighting the old but on creating the new. This is really true. And this is so important to realise that in order to create something new, it doesn't help to fight the old. the only the only way to really create something new is to, to dream up. There's no reality and then focus your attention on bringing it into existence. And I think it's in the end, it's so simple. I think it's it really is so simple that we all have to shift our attention towards that which we really wish to create towards the world we really wish to live in.
Agi Keramidas 2:29
That was Bart Hoorweg, co founder of Gaianet, discussing how fighting the old, what is around us, is not the way, the way is to create the new. And to do this, who have to dream up this new reality will have to shift our attention towards the beautiful world that we want to create and live in. And maybe a sceptic would say, Is it really possible to create something like this, something completely different look at what's going on around us. Here's what Giulia May, one of the original founders of Gaianet had to say about this.
Giulia May 3:13
What we forget is that everything that is here and now has been created by us, the cities, the technology, the way we live together, how we organised ourselves. So if we dare to look at the current situation as an end station of creation for many, many, many years, decades, a 1000s of years, then we can also say But yeah, but we can create something completely different. It's as possible as what is here today is possible. It what is here today is just a version of all the possibilities we have.
Agi Keramidas 4:02
It's just a version. The current reality is just a version of all the possibilities we have. Let's hear from Bart. Again, what he says about people who have doubts whether it is possible.
Bart Hoorweg 4:20
You tell people about the vision that we've been talking about. A lot of people are sceptical, that it's possible. They might say they don't believe or there's a lot of reasons to say it's not possible. Luckily enough, there's there's a large, large group of people that are starting to believe it's possible, and doing that for a while and it's a growing movement. But in order to, to have this massive transition on the planet, you will need to create these places where people that might not be so easy to believe, where they can step into this new reality and actually experience what it's like. Once you step into that new reality, there's, you know, all the doubts in your mind. They're just flushed away, because it's real.
Agi Keramidas 5:08
But talk about transitioning towards this vision. And he made a very important point that I also asked him, How would this world look like? And here's what he had to say.
Bart Hoorweg 5:25
It's really important that we create a world in which everybody is free to follow their passions and their dreams. And where people have the opportunity to really discover what their purpose is in life. What is their unique role in the larger hole? Because if everybody does what they love to do the most, I think, well, we cannot create anything less than a beautiful world, right?
Agi Keramidas 5:57
We will listen next from Alexander Keehnen, one of the cofounders of Gaianet, about how does he envision the future.
Alexander Keehnen 6:09
I see a world full of community type societies, I see smaller communities, instead of big, big cities, many smaller communities where people live with new sets of principles, and no government. First of all, we don't need a government, we are all sovereign beings, fully in our own responsibility. And together, we can decide what's best for the community. Of course, there's a core team that can do the daily operations and organisation, but they do sell in full transparency. Not like our governments, you know, they do everything in small rooms that they cannot be part of. And then there's a press conference to say their conclusion, and we all have to do that. That's not a democracy. For me. We are all imprisoned in this system. And now by making it fully transparent, and implementing feedback loops, so that the community can give feedback, and, and and the people defining the policies, understand what works, what doesn't work. Now we create something where as a whole, we can serve the highest good of all, and find our way use the wisdom of the crowd, to create what's what's best and to define what should be our priorities as a community.
Agi Keramidas 7:35
One of the most important elements of this new world is of course, our connection with nature with the planet with mother Gaia. Let's listen from Bart again, talking about nature.
Bart Hoorweg 7:52
I really believe that it's, it's time to reconnect with nature, we've really lost our connection with nature. And it's so important to realise that our well being as humanity is directly linked linked with the well being of the planet. So I really see a future in which we learn to live in harmony with nature again, and with each other.
Agi Keramidas 8:15
And let's also hear from Alexander Keehnen about the same topic of nature.
Alexander Keehnen 8:24
I think we'll move to much more localised products, it doesn't make sense that products are shipped all over the world that I can eat fresh avocados, here in the Netherlands that come from I don't know how many 1000s kilometres away. So moving more to local specialisations, permaculture. permaculture is huge, you know, we know agriculture now as humans, but now understanding how we can create a closed system, where different types of fruits, vegetables, insects, soil, can create a system where everything improves itself. So with relatively little effort, we can have a relatively large and diverse harvests that will be integrated into those villages into those new Earth cities. live in harmony with nature, so there's much more green around this effect. First, there's the green. And then there are also houses in the places where it fits.
Agi Keramidas 9:30
One of the magnificent longer term projects that Gaianet is involved in are the light cities. I find this project both fascinating and inspiring. And we will listen to Dan Gorter, co-founder of Gaianet, describing this topic while also contrasting it with the current dark reality and notice the perspective that he's speaking from this higher or global perspective. And notice if it resonates with you.
Daan Gorter 10:09
In a short version, it's a project to create a integrated network of cities systems that work trade less money less, and states less meaning without government that are intended to function as a you can call it either a Resource Based Economy or an open access economy. And the word economy actually means the fulfilment of needs through goods and services. economy has nothing to do with money. Money is a man made invention that's fused with economy. And it aims to offer a complete radical new solution to how we live, breathe and organise ourselves moving away from a profit oriented system that really each nation is just a company, its government is just a company. And the inhabitants of a nation are its employees. And they're ruled by force. And it aims and the only thing that is the common purpose of humanity right now that we have jointly agreed upon, because we're all in the system is raising the GDP of each nation. So we're all just working together as a chosen common purpose as humanity, each person has a job or is adding to the financial system is just doing that to increase the profit of the nation, and to reduce its debts. And the debts are centralised to a certain small group of people. So that's the problem. And that goes at the cost of poor countries and of the ecology. And we see that everywhere. And the cities are there to function as an alternative way for humanity to live, breathe and organise itself without those initial design mistakes, because they're just design mistakes, and to design our habitat systems, from a totally different perspective from a whole system to design, and thereby hoping to offer alleviation to the problems that we are in and hopefully offer a lasting solution that humanity can thrive. And we need to start somewhere that starts with one city in Brazil, bringing as much as we can together, building an industry around it so that we can modular modularly scale this out to other places in Brazil and to anybody in the world that wants to do the same, and work together.
Agi Keramidas 12:34
And let's listen next, to change the perspective to something more shorter than before the light cities. Let's listen about the harmony village project, which is something much more imminent. And we will listen to Alexander Keane and talking about it.
Alexander Keehnen 12:55
All of this is just virtual, we want to bring it down to the real Earth. So that's what harmony villages for harmony village is about? How can we take all of these amazing things that already exists somewhere in the world? new ways to live new forms of houses fully natural building materials more energy efficient, friendly to nature? How can we shape a village? Should we live in harmony with nature? How can we shape communal dynamics in the village so that people feel connected and constantly ask for their needs and share with each other and teach each other things. So harmony vintage is first project to bring all of this down to earth and start living it leading to the third big pillars the light city project and that's really the pinnacle of human evolution. The first light city will be for 10,000 people bring together the leading edge technologies in basically all fields that we require to live a free and abundant life. So harmony village is also the first small step in that direction. And the very first harmony Village, we're looking to create really a living lab, living lab, a place where all these new Earth technologies can be demonstrated, implemented experimented with experience. So this is really an innovation hub, an incubator for everything that concerns the New Earth. Inside harmony village, we'll be demonstrating many different kinds of buildings you know, communal buildings, ceremony, space, fitness, gym, massage basis, all of that cinema etc. Natural swimming pool, and the houses, the domes to places where the people will live, whether it's couples or families. They will be designed by different kinds of creators from all over the world. So that harmony finish becomes a showcase with real life, tangible things, to show to the world and to experience of course, what is already possible today. Of course, inside the harmony vintage book on will, will open the door for people work on the New Earth can be leadership teams coming together can be people visiting, can be people related to guidance, there's a huge movement going on all over the world, people are waking up people are putting themselves in service of mother Gaia, Mother Earth. And harmony villages is one of those physical places where these people can be in each other's close proximity,
Agi Keramidas 15:42
a living lab and an incubator for New Earth. Alexander sees all these villages as cells belonging to a bigger organism.
Alexander Keehnen 15:56
And all these villages, all these cities there they can be seen like like cells, a cell that belongs to a larger organism. So see many new places, I see these cells popping up with groups of people who make it happen. I see for example, from harmony villages, but also many other village builders, conscious community project leaders that are part of the guidance network. All of these parties, sharing our blueprints, sharing our best practices, so that any group that wants to move away from the city live in harmony with nature, again, gets all the blueprints. There's no intellectual property. Intellectual property is one of the biggest breaks in human development that you can imagine why the first person to register an idea can keep it for themselves, when it can benefit 7 billion people, I still don't understand the logic in that
Agi Keramidas 16:55
I will let that sink in for a moment.
Technology of the future is a very big topic on its own. And we won't go into any detail. But let's hear a quick comment from Bart, about the new technologies and how in particular virtual reality could assist us in creating this future.
Bart Hoorweg 17:22
For example, when it comes to designing the environments that we want to create, I think virtual reality can play a very important role in imagining what this can look like and to actually walk around into that environment already. So as you can see, what is going to be your be about and how to move around us these these technologies, these transportations. So in terms of visualising what this future can look like, I think technology can play an important role.
Agi Keramidas 18:03
A question that I wanted to understand through my conversations was, through all these changes in this new paradigm for the future, what is the role of Gaianet? And we will hear from Dan Gorter.
Daan Gorter 18:23
Yeah, it's very hard to see and feel into that, since we are not attached to our own definition of what's supposed to happen. And I think that is maybe the biggest role of guidance is to stay fluid and flexible, and not get too dug in to who we are and what we do and why we know why we do it. And that's not going to change. But what we do and how we do is, is fluid. Over the long term, I see that guidance is potentially both a recruitment platform for building the infrastructures. And at the same time, it's going to function as the neural net and the web between the physical places and hopefully not hopefully, it's it's intended the long term vision is to be the connected mainframe. So to be the Internet of the New Earth, so to speak, the new Gaia net, not the internet but the guy in it connecting all these love souls all over the world together in one unified information system that can function as a whole that can both do it for the people but also to use extensive sensor equipment, data, equipment, actualization, everything to measure, control and adjust everything in these living environments to optimise human need fulfilment and maximise human potential. So there's different layers and phases. Now it's a small group of big heads. it intends to be more of a recruitment platform and allied beacon attract larger numbers and later, with a lot of partners. Of course, we're not envisioning to build all of that, but to be the weaver of the puzzle pieces and Click them all together and make them function for the cities and for humanity as a whole.
Agi Keramidas 20:10
I hope you have found what you've heard inspiring or at least intriguing. And these leads us to the question that I think it's the single most important one, it is certainly one of the biggest reasons why I have created this feature in the first place.
And that question is, now that you are intrigued about Gaianet or inspired, even better, what action can you take? I asked my guests this exact question. And we let them answer it for you. Let's hear from Giulia first.
Giulia May 20:56
The most beautiful gift that you can give yourself today, depending also where you are. And what what is your today, experience of being alive, is start to be curious. Put your head on of being an explorer and an adventure and start to look for those places where you can start contributing, start to ask yourself, where would I want to go? What could be my most beautiful contribution with my personal and unique lifeforce energy to this world today. And ask your helpers universe to show you the way start to dream. And the moment that you find that door again that door, walk through it. And yeah, I would say be welcome.
Agi Keramidas 22:01
Let's also hear Floris Moerkamp, one of the core contributors of Gaianet,
Floris Moerkamp 22:08
what I came to realise is that every behaviour that you see yourself do whether you become way too angry about something or you're addicted to something or you work way too hard, or whatever it is, you know, that part of you that's doing that is doing that as with the best of intentions, always 100% of the time, it's, it's always to help you, it's always to protect you from something. And I think if you're able to look at those parts of yourself in that way, with that compassion and that loving kind of curiosity, instead of like, trying to push it away, you know, because like, so often those parts of you are the kids that was pushed away, like, and it's it's trying to be seen. And now again, your system, you're trying to push it away. While Well, if you just like, let it be there and be with that part of yourself, then it will transform. So thank you for smoking habit. Thank you weird addictions, thank you for your anger and rampages and whatever, because they're there for you.
Agi Keramidas 23:21
I will let that sink in for a moment. And let's listen to Daan.
Daan Gorter 23:29
If you somehow feel that you are not exactly on the right path, and you know this as a person. And if you notice that you are distracting yourself a lot from that feeling, then you know even more that it's true. And you will also know as a person what this means to distract yourself from what you know, it doesn't really feel right, there's something off. That's a very important thing to listen to. And don't stop listening to it until it stops talking. Go find meaning. Go find something that's really meaningful for you, not what you will learn not what you think. You'll also know as a person, everybody knows this deep down in their gut what this actually means. Most people choose to stay with the discomfort of not knowing and I really encourage you to be courageous and to do whatever it takes really, obviously with respect to all the people around you. Don't get me wrong here but do what it takes to figure out why you are here. And they notice not easy man. Because the tools we have been offered as human beings to discover that are wrong. those tools are ineffective. The educational system, the work life system, the entertainment system, there are all insufficient, you got to go out of the box, but there fortunately so Many people in the world who live to a lesser or more degree, discovered this within themselves, and are helping others with this. So find the tool that works for you. It can be going to travel it can be to work with plant medicine can be to go to extensive meditation retreat, to sit in a man circle in a woman circle, do whatever resonates with you, to expose yourself to the opportunity, at least, to find more out about this, because it's a lifelong journey in the end.
Agi Keramidas 25:28
Still on the same topic, let's listen to Bart.
Bart Hoorweg 25:33
a very important part of following and creating your dreams is this part of having the courage to make that make that leap. And it doesn't have to be a big leap at once. But I think it's good to experiment with taking these small leaps, and small steps towards creating maybe a mini version of the dreams you have. Or go for a big dream. I mean, I won't stop to place if you have big dreams, go for them straight away if you feel like it. But if you feel a little bit anxious still to make this this big leap, then make it make a mini dream, an experiment of what your big dream can look like something that you can easily, quite easily create, and then make this mini leap to start experiencing what it's like when you make a step towards realising your dreams. Because in my experience, taking this step, showing this courage, and your commitment to the universe, is something that's always being rewarded. That's kind of how manifestation seems to work. You have this this this little equation that I am equation, intention plus action is manifestation. And I think it bears a very interesting truth that when you have this intention, you take an action, then the universe will conspire for you and help you in bringing that manifestation into reality. But you have to show that you're serious. Because if you're not serious, then the universe will be like, Well, alright, whatever. But when you show that you're willing to take a step and show that you're serious then universe like, Alright, let's, let's help this guy, or this girl.
Agi Keramidas 27:30
And here is what Alexander had to say about this.
Alexander Keehnen 27:36
I think the deeper layer's clear, you know, we are the ones we've been waiting for the world this is it's taking a wrong turn already for, for in the past hundreds, maybe even 1000s of years. Politics isn't gonna change it big corporates are in the banks aren't going to change it. They are a big part of the problem. So it's you, it's me, it's us. It's the normal people. It's us, our job to figure out we're not just normal, we are all powerful creators, and we are the ones we've been waiting for. No need to wait for Saviour, it's not gonna happen. It's inside of you. It's inside of me, it's inside of us. And we need to get together. So that's if that resonates, you know, I even recommend people to just visit the website guy on net, dot earth. And there's lots more lots more information, some examples of projects that we related with. And just click the Get involved button to see what you can do, how you can get involved, there's 77 different ways. Same if you want to get involved in harmony finish projects, or light safety project, this is the place to start. Inside guy in it. It's all about trust. So you'll first speak with someone to build trust, and you need to be invited into the network initiated. And then once you're inside, we know you're in it for the same reasons we can start helping each other giving, asking and bring you in contact with somebody or multiple people in the world who are already working on the topic that you're passionate about. That one part that you would love to contribute to, I bet we already know a bunch of people were already doing it and you just need to connect with them, talk with them. And these are the golden connections. So that's what guy in it is for. And when you're listening and you feel resonance, just take the next step guy in that Earth get involved and go with the flow from there.
Agi Keramidas 29:55
That inventor and visionary Buckminster Fuller Said famously, you never change things by fighting the existing reality, to change something, build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete. And we talked about this in the previous part. For me, if I take this phrase and break it down this era that we living there exist in reality is that the institutions that we have given the power to, we must understand that they won't solve the problem, they're actually a big part of the problem. But to change things, we can't fight these exist in reality, instead, we need to build this new model that will make the existing model obsolete. And the important thing to realise is that the government's and the big corporations are not going to do it for us, we need to stand up for ourselves, and realise that we are the ones we've been waiting for. For me, personally, Gyan, it has inspired me and I see it as a beacon of light for a more compelling future. I have mentioned before it was when I realised that giving my energy trying to fight against this collapsing system around us is ineffective. It's a waste of force and energy for me, guy, and it can be a beacon of light towards this compelling future to go towards. And I feel personally that it is my calling to contribute to this. And it has been said that there is an awakening happening in human consciousness. And I feel it is my duty to contribute to this awakening of human consciousness and the vision of the new world and your earth, the new humanity.
Bart Hoorweg 32:16
I believe that Gaianet is a gateway, a portal, a portal into this, this newly emergent world, I see Gaianet there's a portal where you enter and from there, you can explore this whole landscape, together with other people that feel aligned with the vision and that you can feel at home with and be yourself, share yourself and discover what are the dreams that you wish to bring into creation into this bigger vision, this bigger dream, this bigger movement that's happening.
Daan Gorter 32:50
We talk a lot about a lot of beautiful things. But the reality is also the upcoming decades going to be very hard. What I mean to say is, we're going to see the collapse of quite a few things, we're going to see increasing climates. Well, distress and emergencies for large groups of people, it's going to be very hard migration. And we're going to see the probably the collapse of several Institute's that we felt as society gave us some stability. And the main lesson there is to stay in community stay together and to stay in the heart and to stay strong together and support each other and ask for help also, when you're having a hard time
Giulia May 33:35
if we dare to start dreaming, and I think that that is really the first step, start allowing ourselves back to dream of a better world, allow ourselves to fantasise about it. How would I feel in a completely different world
Alexander Keehnen 33:57
just want to emphasise that that door is open. And it is open for people who can take their own steps take their own action, stand their own ground and be with us side by side to make real change happen.
Bart Hoorweg 34:15
Think it's it really is so simple, that we all have to shift our attention towards that which we really wish to create, towards the world we really wish to live in.
Agi Keramidas 34:29
The world is changing and it is our duty and responsibility to contribute to creating a better future for us and the future generations, for humanity. We're at a critical point in time and you're listening to me right now. And that's why I'm sharing it with you. Stand out, don't fit in, make a difference. Let's allow ourselves to dream about a better world and let's take action towards it.
