Today is a brief solo episode with my reflections from the last couple of months of the podcast. And let me give a little bit of background first. So about a couple of months ago, it was episode 240, when I made the decision that for a while, at least the podcast would go from two episodes a week, as it always had been to one episode a week, that was an opportunity for me to take a step back. And first of all, reflect on how far the podcast has come over the two and a half years of its existence, and also how I envision it for the future. And, you know, sometimes the best thing to do is actually to take a step back and look at what you are creating, rather than keeping on building it on and on. So a change of perspective, from time to time is not only useful, I would say it's also essential.

1:48
So here we are. And now the time that this episode is recorded, it is early September 2022. And September, in many ways is the month that traditionally thinks start again after the summer. So during this two months, I have looked not only at how I envision the podcast to be, but also and even more importantly, so what would benefit you and make the podcast more useful and valuable to you. I say often that, how I see it, the work that I do with the podcast, it's it's not to inform people, but to influence them. It's not about passing knowledge, there is so much information and knowledge out there. So it's not about information, it is rather about transformation. And that's why I always ensure that the podcast conversations provide more than just inspiration or motivation or some desire to do something. They provide some action that you can take, because knowledge that is not been applied is practically useless. As Stephen Covey says in the seven habits of highly effective people to know and not to do is really not to know.

3:15
So coming back to what I wanted to say earlier, from next week, the podcast will go back to the previous format of two episodes a week show, every Monday we will have a conversation where I invite myself inside the minds of successful entrepreneurs, authors, visionaries, spiritual teachers, thought leaders, people whose journey and knowledge as I was saying earlier will not just inspire you, but actually influence you to take some action to improve your life. So that will happen on Monday. And every Thursday there will be a solo episode. So let me share a few words about this solo episodes. First of all, they are going to be brief while compared to Monday's episode anyways, so for the times that you want to listen to something that is about 15-20 minutes if that's the time that you have, and find something actionable in there. This will be the the episodes that will give you specifically that I have made all sorts of plans and ideas about this solo episodes. And the only thing I will share now because I don't want to spoil the surprise. So the only thing I will say now that they're not going to be repetitive or the same thing with different topics rather. It's going to be a variety of approaches. And I will leave it to that for for now.

5:01
So from next week, make sure you tune in on Thursdays and check the solo episodes out. And speaking about next week, next Monday, the 19th of September, the podcast will celebrate Episode 250, which is a big milestone. It is a quarter of the way to 1000 episodes. I'm laughing as I'm saying that because I have admitted publicly that my long term goal with with personal development mastery is to read episode 1000. So yes, next week, with a quarter of the way there. And in this milestone Episode 250, I have a very special guest, Dr. John Demartini, the world renowned expert on human behaviour and global educator, and the topic of the conversation is mastery, Life Mastery, mind mastery, personal development mastery, it is a conversation that you really don't want to miss!

6:11
Dr. Demartini at his best. He discussed how to awaken that part of our brain that is responsible for our inner governance, the executive centre as he calls it, and how we can switch from being reflexive. In other words, reacting to stimulus in an automatic way, like reflex. Switching to being reflective of choosing how to respond in any given situation have that reflective awareness. I believe it's one of the most powerful podcast episodes I have done to date. And it's probably the best way to mark this milestone celebratory episode 250.

7:07
