In this episode I am sharing the conversation I had with Marlo Higgins on her superb podcast "22 motivational minutes".

I actually had the pleasure to interview Marlo myself on this podcast in Episode #105. Today I'm sharing the conversation we had on her podcast. She asked me some very insightful questions about entrepreneurship, risk taking, personal development, the topic of intuition came up quite a lot. There were actually a couple of questions she asked me that I hadn't articulated before, so it was very intriguing for me.

In this episode, I'm sharing the conversation I had with Marlo Higgins on her superb podcast 22 motivational minutes, I actually had the pleasure to interview Marlowe myself for this podcast in Episode 105. So today, I'm sharing the conversation I had with Marlowe for a hair podcast. And she asked me some very insightful questions about entrepreneurship, risk taking personal development. And the topic of intuition came up quite a lot. There were actually a couple of questions. She asked me that I hadn't articulated before. So it was very intriguing for me as well. So I hope you enjoy this episode. And check out my last podcast. It's super motivational, and I'm sure you will enjoy it. And if you find this conversation of value, let me know. I'd love to hear from you.

1:35
All right, welcome back to this week's episode of 22 motivational minutes with Marlo and this is our brand performance podcast. And today our performance conversation is with our very special guest oggy paramitas, Huggy and I have really gotten to know each other. I am a super fan of his and on in February oggy was he crossed the finish line over 100, the podcast episode recorded and going live. So it's just a huge asset to have you with us. You know, your knowledge broker, you're a podcaster, a speaker, and also a dentist. And that's where I think this conversation is just going to be super fascinating for our audience. And it is your duty to raise awareness that is something that you stand really tall on. You're joining us from the UK today with this episode. So Huggy, thank you so much for joining us.

2:26
Thank you Marlo. It's a real pleasure to be here and your introduction. Well, what? It's delightful to hear it presented like that.

2:37
Absolutely. And you know, the thing we want people to know back in 2019, you became a certified knowledge broker. And you completed the knowledge broker blueprint which was a course by both Tony Robbins and Dean grassy OC, and you through that learn how to facilitate growth and others while constantly growing yourself. You've created the growth mindset mastermind and you are on a beautiful path. And so that's where I want to take this conversation for our listeners, you know, how did you get into the space? You know, where was your mindset with the desire to become an entrepreneur and a knowledge broker? Auggie?

3:15
Thank you, Marla. It's a great start really to describe in a little bit because we also you mentioned that I am a dentist and I have left that for last intentionally even though it is what I have done most of my life. But at some point, a few years back, I felt empty in a way that I had lost my direction, my purpose. And that was when I embarked on a personal development journey really which there was a point that I realised the limiting belief that I had, it was a very intense lightbulb moment at a Tony Robbins event. And since that time, something shifted from me being an introvert closed person, I thought was very hesitant, you know, to socialise with people, he didn't know, to actually turn that around and become a speaker a podcaster. And that at some point, I realised to answer your question, that it was my duty in a way to help others that are in a similar situation to guide them if you want through the process, because I know it is very disempowering to have thoughts that you want to share with others and because of the voice in your mind, to hold them inside and not to share them. And then the moment goes, and then you you keep thinking, Oh, why why didn't I say that? So it's, I think I took a very long winded approach to your question. No,

4:59
it's better. have fallen, you know, and I think it's very pure oggy as far as you know, from the heart as far as where your desire was, you know, you just felt like you needed greater purpose. And you started to, to dig into that. So, you know, what was it about, you know that the knowledge broker blueprint that really attracted you to it? Is there a mean, was there one specific thing,

5:21
not one specific thing, eventually, the decisive factor was my instinct, which I have learned to trust over the years in the decisions I make. But what what it allowed me to do where I read, I, first of all, I came across it because I have been a Tony Robbins fan since that light bulb event ahead. So I crude at his event, and that's how I learned the knowledge broker blueprint from and what I found with it is that it allowed me to expand my, my thinking because all the time, I thought that personal development is just for me, it's personal, as far as it says. So it was only then that I realised that I could actually make a business out of this knowledge that I haven't out of this process that I have been in the transformation. So that's how it helped me very much to, to think that this is not just a hobby of mine, or this passion, I can actually turn it turn into into a business.

6:31
So it's 24 to 36 months, I mean, you've been through this transformation for yourself. And, you know, you were you know, you're trained dentist, I mean, that that takes a lot of knowledge in itself, a lot of practice certification. And that's a very important position. But it's really fascinating, you know, as you were in that space, and serving, and doing a beautiful job with it, right? It was just the thing that you knew how to do, right? Your family kind of had that upbringing, and you were exposed to it and thought, well, that's where I just need to be. But then you had this internal burn in this, this approach to be an entrepreneur. Now, how do you relate to entrepreneurs? Like, what is it about them? Specifically, as you, you know, said, I'm making a choice to do that was, you know, what was it about being an entrepreneur that allowed you to do it?

7:24
This is a fantastic question. And I'm wondering if there is one thing that I can answer to that my initial trigger happened a few years ago, when I read Rich Dad Poor Dad photo, I really need to do that. So for me, it is the feeling of choice of freedom. And more than that, for me, it feels that I have served enough of my time or life on this planet, helping other people's visions as an employee of one way or another or or an associate dentist or in such capacities. So it feels that it is time for me to do something that I am passionate about doing. I love doing. And you mentioned in you mentioned, the beginning feels like a duty. from from from the heart that duty, like as a human being. Yeah, and that's nothing to take lightly. Is it? No, no, no, if you, if you don't want to live a sad life, you need to pay attention to it.

8:34
What I think is brilliant is you know, helping others achieve their vision. I think that's very, very powerful. When you make these alignments, you know, when somebody comes into your growth mindset mastermind, can you give us some insight in, you know, how you tap into helping others achieve their vision?

8:52
Thank you. Yes. The masterminds that I've been running recently focused on what I mentioned earlier about people who are in the position, I used to be people who feel that they have something important with inside them that love to share with others, but because of those limiting beliefs, or fear, roll, fear of judgement or forever, whatever the reason, they keep it inside. So with my masterminds, I help these people to really started the goal, this transformation because really, it's an internal game, once you something inside your mind clicks and it is something very simple. Once that clicks, then it is quite easy to go on on this path of transformation, which of course never happens immediately, or I would never say never usually takes a little bit of time, but I don't know if that answers your question. No,

9:55
absolutely, it absolutely does. And so in this space too, because it is Such an internal game, right? And we feel like, you know, there's a lot of risk to be taken, can you give us some insight into taking risk? I mean, you, you went from having a really secure corporate positioning to saying, I'm going to build my own personal business for freedom and choice. Where was the risk at for you? Or was there risk? Of course,

10:20
yes. I think there is always face when you when you change something big in your life, but Marlowe, there are different ways I could answer this question for you. Because in a way, having done things in my life, like moving from Greece, to the UK, when I was 35, on my own, that means that I have some tolerance through risk if you want, if there's like, if my gut feeling tells me that this change is going to be what I must do, then I trust that intuition, and I will take the risk, the risk, and I always remember that beautiful phrase that says if you don't risk anything, you risk everything. And that's very profound, if you think about it. So risk is, is is part of what it's part of life isn't it's nothing certain anyway, so take some calculated risks. Yes.

11:18
Well, and I, you know, I enjoy people who live a big life, right, that that don't play small, and that really enlightens me, because those are those freedom seekers, those people who you know, see it as being possible, and they're willing to do whatever it takes to achieve it. And I'm fueled by that, right, that energy of possibility. But I'd love to know, just a little bit more. I mean, you stated, you know, 35 years old, right, you you made the choice. You were living in Greece. And then you said I'm going to go over to the UK, what was it about that? crossing the bridge that you know, like, what was that experience all about?

11:55
I was when I was, I suppose human when I was still in Greece before I moved, correct? Yes, yes. So I was living a life there that on the outside seem to be very great, but inside effort, discontent and emptiness at the time and even though I didn't know what it was, I felt some kind of calling to the UK show. To make a long story very short. It took me a few years of battling with in securities with fears until I took the decision and when we that relates nicely to the your previous question about risk. It took me a long time to take that big decision and I realised that I could have taken it how life unfolded really I just let go and came to the UK with two suitcases. I left my you know, my practice, family, fiance friends, everyone just came because I needed to do the tough it felt like writing in my heart to do and it was the best thing I've ever done. By the way, the best decision I've ever taken.

13:09
Really? No. Okay, now how can you say that? That's a very strong statement. What what allows you to stay to say that Auggie?

13:17
Well, no, I see the person that I have become been on my own in a different country. You know, it's it's inevitable to change show and I like this new person because he's more independent, self reliant, resilient things that I never had in Greece, I was very sad. We say soft person or mama's boy, if you want show, in that sense of my own personal growth, I feel that's how I say it in terms of the best decision. I know, it's a bold statement, I was kind of, you know, overly emphasising without paying too much attention to the the exact words that they used. So thank you for picking that up from the

14:06
absolutely no. And, and what we hear from you, I mean, just in this episode is just how peaceful you are. How do you relate to that? I mean, do you? Do you sense that because, you know, and you've really referred a lot to you know, your intuition and your instinct and I believe that your intuition is your Oracle. I believe that we really need to listen because the path is charted, but we really need to listen to it. And you've done a brilliant job of doing that. Give us some insight as I speak that truth as far as you know, you being peaceful. Is that true?

14:39
I think so. I've been told in the past that Oh, you are peaceful. You do? radiate this calm smile show. I feel it's you know, it's hard hard to measure that. So I can't say that. I'm three out of 10 peaceful show, but yes, I do feel Jen. He called me because I follow what I think it's my path in life. If I go against that, then I don't feel that pace. Right?

15:13
Yeah. So present and calm and happy. I mean, these are all things that, you know, allow you to be in that space. Okay, so now let's kind of shift gears a little bit. And let's look at what's next. I mean, you've gotten yourself this far, right? And you've really had some some monumental things happen. you've, you've launched your own business, you've you've, you know, moved out of the country, you've had 100 episodes published on your podcast. What's next for Aki, like, what does that next vision look like for you?

15:40
That podcast is my big passion, because I through it, I have the ability to share not just knowledge, because there's no lack of knowledge in the world out there. But I'm sharing inspired, actionable items that can help the listener to, to improve. So the podcast by vision with the podcast is to I will, I will boldly declare it to have a world class podcast, and I will leave that open to interpretation. But I think it is my calling and my duty to to use this platform to share this kind of transformational knowledge that I think it's it's important, especially during these times with the the shifting that is happening.

16:41
Right. And your your podcast is titled The personal development mastery podcast. And I mean, it does absolutely inspire actionable items. You know, is there anything specific that you've learned by hosting that podcast? What are you what are one or three of your most favourite actionable items? If you can't pick just one, what are your What are your top actionable items?

17:07
What to start?

I've, personally, I've taken so many different things from methods of doing the process of visualisation, for example, like using gratitude, or even what kind of music to use to think slyke spiritual concepts, which I've had a few conversations with deeply spiritual people and teachers. And again, I took some deepers messages. Now, this is not actionable, she asked me, but it's more tweaks that I have personally gotten done. Not one or two major, major things. Yes.

17:58
Yeah. And I think, you know, you validate the power of the every day, you know, it doesn't have to be a mountain moving success or win as much as those small steps that get you closer and closer to the finish line. Absolutely. Yeah. Okay. So when you say world class podcast, I want to go back and visit that like, okay, just a little bit more. I mean, you've got you've got a goal with a set number that you want to get to, can you share that with us?

18:28
Sure. This is you ask? So stretch you. So, I would I want to see personal development, mastery podcasting, the 0.5%, the top 0.5% of podcasts. And there are some, I'm sure, you know, there are some indexes that can measure that. I'm not saying in terms of numbers, because numbers in a way are can be a little bit misleading, or they don't represent the value of a podcast necessarily.

19:05
Absolutely. Yeah. No, and your podcast is your platform. And I think that's just brilliant, that you're bringing different messages, you know, to light and and inspiring other people to step into their vision. And I think you are just a huge example of stepping into that, you know, that actionable person who is you know, with that deep message, I think that's just so powerful. And you know, so with that podcast, I mean, give us some more insight. Do you have a special guest that you would like to see on your podcast? I mean, if you can have somebody that you could interview on that platform, who would it be?

19:44
Well, no, I have a big list of people I would love to interview and some of them are considered to be like the, the creme de la creme like the dream, the Dream Team if you want so the top of that list, I would place mister Tony Robbins himself but there are I would love to interview I'm actually doing that already reaching out to all the people who have mentored me during my personal development journey, either directly or indirectly, and interviewing interviewing them so it's definitely feel like I'm paying back the tribute because they they helped me even by reading the book to you know, move forward and i i want to share that back for them.

20:31
I think that's powerful. Yeah. And it's you know, as a podcaster it's great to have a vision of you know, who could who could be out there you know, and be that dream guest and Yes, yeah, so raising you up. So if anybody's listening to this episode, right now Auggie? If you've got, you know, connections to Tony Robbins. Let's make that connection for Augie and make that dream a reality. So,

20:51
